Psychiatrist
The psychiatry services offered by The Center for Progress and Excellence Inc., are reserved only for The Empowerment Center. This service is NOT intended for long-term medication management. Psychiatry services for The Empowerment Center are intended to act as a gap service. An example includes those that run out of their medication and cannot obtain a psychiatry appointment with their provider in a timely manner.
Eric Raab, D.O.
Dr. Raab is a board-certified psychiatrist who has lived and worked in the SWFL community for about 5 years, previously working at Lee Health and the VA. He completed his residency in Central Florida as part of a Corrections/VA/Community based program.
Dr. Raab has a passion for community mental health and is excited to be joining the CPE team. He has extensive experience in mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, and collaborative care systems.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family. He hopes to be able to travel more in the future and enjoys going on new adventures with his family.
