Shaina Dulong, M.A.

Clinical Coordinator of Programs

Shaina originally joined CPE in September 2017 working for the human trafficking program before transitioning as a case manager for the Mobile Crisis Response Team in January 2019. She also worked as a counselor for the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) program working with at-risk youth before transitioning to being a master’s level clinician with the mobile crisis response team. Currently, she is now the clinical coordinator of CPE. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands.

She has experience working with substance abuse, mood disorders, trauma, and individuals throughout the lifespan. Shaina aspires to work with those in the justice system and/or those who have experienced trauma.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, and friends including her cat, Wanda.

Kayla Fulbright, M.A.

Clinical Manager & Lead Master’s Level Clinician

Kayla joined CPE in February 2019 as a case manager on the Mobile Crisis Response Team before transitioning to a master’s level clinician in August 2021. In April 2023, she transitioned into her role as the clinical manager and lead master’s level clinician. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Art from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at FGCU and also completed a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy as she enjoys working with couples to strengthen their relationships.

 Kayla has experience working with populations including substance abuse, mood disorders, and non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) across the lifespan. She aspires to work with the country’s veterans and first responders once she gains additional training and experience.

 In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and going on adventures with her corgi, Brew.

Austin Sabo

Community Liaison for Lee & Collier counties

Austin graduated in 2018 from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. During his senior year, Austin interned at The Center for Progress and Excellence from August 2018 to November 2018 working with victims of sex trafficking. Upon graduation from FGCU, Austin was hired as a case manager for the Mobile Crisis Response Team in January 2019. Austin transitioned into the role of Community Liaison in March 2024. He conducts outreach and marketing events for Lee and Collier counties.

Outside of work, Austin enjoys playing his guitar, listening to his records, and working on his car.

Kelsie Boyette

Community Liaison for Hendry, Glades, & Charlotte counties

Kelsie Boyette is an influential Community Liaison for Hendry, Glades, and Charlotte County where she plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the organization and the community. Her primary responsibilities involve cultivating critical relationships, assessing, and addressing community needs, and advocating for resources that support growth and well-being. Her ability to connect with diverse groups and her insight into community dynamics have made her an indispensable asset to the Center’s mission.

Prior to her current role at CPE, Kelsie held a vital position as Team Leader with CPE - Project HOPE, leveraging her leadership and organizational skills in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. She managed a team of crisis counselors, guiding their outreach efforts and ensuring the provision of mental health and substance use treatment support across multiple counties. Her hands-on approach reflects her profound dedication to community service and mental health advocacy. In her current role, she effectively utilizes data for needs assessments and collaborates with various nonprofits and emergency services, ensuring holistic community support.

Kelsie Boyette's professional journey exemplifies her as a compassionate leader, dedicated to creating a resilient community fabric through her comprehensive approach to mental health services and community liaison work. Her commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and the community at large truly sets her apart.
