Elizabeth Dosoretz

Board Vice President

Elizabeth is the proud mother of three sons. She and her husband met while in high school at Canterbury. After moving away for college and graduate school, they returned to their hometown of Ft. Myers, Florida. She is the CEO and Licensed Clinical Social Worker of Elite DNA Comprehensive Therapy.

Ms. Dosoretz launched Elite DNA Comprehensive Therapy in 2013 as a multi-disciplinary clinic for families, offering psychiatry, mental health, occupational, speech and language therapy, applied behavior analysis, and more. The clinic is staffed with over 200 people and answers between 400 and 600 new patient calls per month. The facility also provides satellite services for patients in need. Dosoretz’s greatest lesson since starting the practice has been the importance of listening. “All people we meet have a story to tell, and it is our job to bear witness to them. We must forget about who we are and what we know, and be prepared to walk in their shoes and meet them where they are,” she says. “This has been very important for my staff and our clinic as a whole.” Lizy works hard on working with other doctors and organizations locally in order to meet all of the patients' needs.

She is currently serving on the board and is treasurer of NAMI SWFL (National Alliance on Mental Illness), and is a Member of the Chapter Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification (CCNLI) for the National Association of Social Workers.  She also co-owns a Fort Myers-based fitness center and speaks fluent Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and writing.
